Great Roads in Southern Colorado.

Morning I left Gunnison for a start on a day that I knew would be a full one!  My route would start by aiming south.  I would be on lightly traveled roads through amazing towns and sites:

The Roads were amazing ...and the sites even more spectacular

Here it is .....a deer in the road.  A very common site in Colorado, Billions of these forest rats eager to ruin your day.

I must have crossed over the Continental Divide a dozen or so times

 
 

The VERY COOL town of Creede

 

The tiny old fashoined gas station in Creede ...all the old-timer locals gather here and the dialouge is something to experience!!


 

Around just about every corner is an amazing view in Colorado
